This painting is created from a photo that I took whilst out for a walk from Les Ruinettes to La Chaux. I have experimented in particular with carbon copy transfer paper and collage in order to give a feeling of topographical contours. At this time, I was also inspired by the colours used by Swiss landscape painters Ferdinand Hodler and Alexander Perrier
