George has been leading groups of adults and children in the mountains areas since 2002. Her trekking experiences range from the Great Wall of China, the Peruvian Andes, Tanzanian volcanic craters, Belizean jungle, New Zealand Alps, Australian bush, Scottish Highlands, Nepal Himalayas, to the French, Italian and Swiss Alps. George is one of many female International Mountain Leaders and sees this professional qualification as a serious career choice not just a seasonal job. She is also an accredited Duke of Edinburgh expedition assessor, a qualified Outdoor Instructor and personal/social development facilitator and has worked at many Outdoor Education Centres over the world.
