This was a short 8km walk with the Bury St Edmunds Ramblers group. We started off at Troston pub car park and walked around many farm lanes to the village of Ixworth Thorpe. Ixworth Thorpe is on the outskirts of Honington our local RAF base. |

This was short 3 hour Sunday walk, starting in the beautiful Suffolk village of Gazeley. It was a circular walk following some of the Ickneild Way, a historic Roman pathway. In each village; Gazeley, Moulton and Dalsham, we were able to visit a church. I particularly enjoyed the rolling countryside and and the tree lined avenues across Dalsham village green. We also had our first sightings of bluebells. |

This was an East Anglia Mountaineering Club walk led by Tim. We all met at Holkam on the North Norfolk coast on Saturday. The weather was beautiful but the wind had a stang to it as we walked through the grounds of Holkham Hall. This came out at Burnham Thorpe the village where Admiral Nelson was born. We also went in the church where the flags from his ship were and the in the pub where he had supposedly drank! |

This was a 2 hour circular walk starting at West Stow walking through foresty commission land to Wordwell. At Wordwell we crossed the road and continued on public footpaths towards Brockley Corner but bearing off to Wordwell church before coming to the entrance. The path took us across farmland and back into the village of West Stow. |

Our walk started at a carpark in Sudbury and as soon as we stepped out of the car it started to snow! The walk had been organised by the Cambridge Walking Club. We were not deterred by the snow and started our walk along the old railway line. Crossing a meadow and then through some housing estates until we found the Stour Valley pathway. This trail took us up and across many muddy arable fields until we reached Henny village church. This church had a beautiful gateway and spire. |
