This was very typical breckland terrain with its sandy soil, pine trees and ling heather. The path continued like this for about 4 km taking me into the village of Tuddenham, past farms of Highland cows that looked slightly out of place. This was an East Anglia Mountaineering Club walk, led by myself. It was a beautiful day and the group which comprised of only 3 other members that day arrived around 10am. The other members who were ill that day, definitely missed out on a great walk! |

This was a very beautiful sunny day and we took full advantage of the good conditions by walking a circular route from Walberswick to Dunwich and back. In the morning we walked along the sea with the views of Dunwich and Sizewell ahead of us. The sun was shimmering on the calm sea. |

This was a 6 day trek in the foothills of the Annapurnas in Nepal. After a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara and a short bus journey we arrived in Hyjenga 1080m where I trek began. The weather was usually hot for March and the group found the humidity to be somewhat of a challenge. Fortunately our first days walk was short in order to acclimatise to the conditions. |

On this day walk I drove to Snape Maltings in Suffolk, parked my car and took the bus to Aldeburgh, some 15 minutes away. I spent a little bit of time brousing around Aldeburgh. There are many beautiful curio shops and contemporary art galleries here, not to mention the victorian architecture. I took a brief stroll on the beach but it was pretty chilly so I headed in land and found the Suffolk Coast path. |
