Trekking holidays in Sicily and on Mt Etna. You will start your three day expedition by trekking on the Pista Altomontana around the circumference of Mount Etna. A small rustic mountain hut serves as your accommodation for one night and a traditional Sicilian dinner can be cooked on an open fire. Our final trekking day takes us up and over the summit crater of Mount Etna. Very often this volcanoe is actively steaming and you can see the bright lava moving down the mountain side!
In Sicily you can book your own accommodation, meals and transport and just pay George £120 per day as your trekking guide plus her travel and accommodation.
