Switzerland: Go on a snowshoeing holiday from January - March and explore the winter scenery. In June a low level trek or painting holiday in the Bernese Oberland is recommended as there is often still snow on the high passes. From July - September you can trek over the high passes in the Swiss Alps or Bernese Oberland, on the Haute Route, Tour de Mt Blanc or Tour de Matterhorn.
Nepal: From April - May and October - December you can choose between many high attitude and low altitude trekking holidays in the Annapurna, Everest, Langtang & Manaslu regions of Nepal. You may also like the challenge of a trekking peak during these months. In November join the Nepal Charity Trek and trek in aid of the library at Singla village, see the inset below for more details.
